How It Works
Free Ten-Minute Consultation:
Can I help you reach your goals? If I'm not the right coach for you, I'll refer you to any number of the coaches and audio professionals on my "Resources" page that I can recommend for your specific needs.
If we are a good fit, we'll create a custom curriculum and step-by-step training plan together.
Schedule Your First Session(s):
Go at your own pace! Some of my students train with my bi-weekly, others will book sessions twice a month, and some like to just pop in for a refresher or a review as needed. I offer training 30, 60, and 120-minute sessions. You can schedule session time online here.
There are a few things I offer in every session, regardless of what we cover:
One-on-one sessions via mediums such as Skype, Google Hangouts, etc
*Continued mentorship includes nearly around the clock availability to answer questions regarding job opportunities, special circumstances, and clarification. If your request requires deep analysis and review, an additional session will be required.
My students appreciate the genuine interest, empathy, and relationships I foster with them to achieve a personalized, effective plan through custom-tailored sessions that cover topics like:
The Art of Voice Acting
Copywriting (demo scripts, commercial scripts, podcasts, etc.)
I have a unique background as not only an actor but a business owner as well.
In brief, I was a child actor until I purchased a retail store at the age of 18 using my college fund as a downpayment for a business loan. I grew that business over the course of seven years and then sold it at a profit. During those seven years, I studied and participated in very small and independent voice-over gigs. By 2017, I was ready to go full-time. You can learn more about my background below. All records are also available upon request!
What's In A Session
Because each session is customized specifically to the individual student's level and goals, I don't offer a standard curriculum sample. For example, you may be a fantastic voice actor but you have no idea how to run a business or self-manage. Likewise, you may have business experience but have never been involved in the performing arts.
To get an idea of what my sessions look like, you can take a look at this video of my student, Tom, and me tackling script interpretation, delivery, tone, and inflection.
Acting & Business
The '90s - 2009
I was a child actor until about Jr. High and High School (puberty was rough).
Credits include the title role in San Diego State University’s production of “Opal,” Zuzu in the Fritz Theater’s “It’s a Wonderful Life,” and Emily in the short film, “A Fish Tale.” Check it out on my IMDB page here.
During my senior year in high school, I began the process of purchasing my first brick and mortar retail store with a small loan.
After one year of business, I had increased my sales by 98% (all records available upon request) and by year two, expanded from a 1,000 square
foot store with one associate to a 4,000 square foot store with over ten employees.
After five years, sales had increased by 725%, I had grown my Facebook page to over 20,000 followers, it was one of the largest stores in its category in San Diego, and consistently won “Best In” awards every year in multiple categories in San Diego’s local news contests.
Soon, others began reaching out to learn how to begin or grow their own businesses! My consulting career had begun.
Voice Acting & Podcasting
After selling the store to my management team in 2016, I began my career as a voice-over talent, having been a child actor in San Diego. I am the current voice behind Marks and Landers E-Learning and have provided voice over services for clients like Similac, Sawyer Products, Tencel Denim, the upcoming video game “Project Aterne,” the Runtastic Fitness app and more!
In May of 2017, I debuted the Dirty Bits Podcast, which I researched, wrote, performed, and produced with my husband, George, before he passed away in November 2019.
The Dirty Bits consistently maintained a rate of over 3,400 downloads over the course of 30 days after the initial release date before the show became more inconsistent due to his terminal health condition.
I now produce multiple shows dealing with grief and loss through comedy on my podcast feed, Death Is Hilarious.

2017 to Present
I'm passionate about teaching others the art of acting, storytelling, marketing, branding, and business management. Yes, you read that right...the art of marketing and business! Believe it or not, it's an incredibly creative endeavor.
I believe in intensive one-on-one sessions where I get to know you and your vision so I can provide the tools and feedback to make that vision a reality. My students appreciate the genuine interest, empathy, and relationships I foster with them to achieve a personalized, effective plan through custom-tailored sessions.
