I joined my first improv team when I was 14 and bounced around to different groups until I was about 26. I created a comedy podcast with my late husband, did stand-up for a few years, and I still create comedy content today, so this is a genre I’m not totally unfamiliar with.
And I noticed this trend that happened around 2016 that has progressed so dramatically, I actually stopped doing stand-up a couple years ago and I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t questioned many times in the past months if I wanted to keep creating comedic content on my socials.
