I played Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated for the first time! The game tasks the player with saving Bikini Bottom by defeating Plankton's rogue army of robots so, y'know, the usual. The game is cutesy and also spicy af with a gorgeous color palette. There's a bit of a learning curve and I definitely got stumped on more than a few occasions.

In this first stream we:
all learned about how I wasn't allowed to watch Spongebob as a kid... so I did it in secret when the opportunity presented itself. I also did this with forbidden books by hiding them in a bible sleeve as a kid and read them right in front of my parents.
learned that as is the case with many games, this one isn't the friendliest for colourblind folks
discussed our favorite dark cartoon fan theories.
defeated our first robots and jellyfish, got our 2nd golden spatula but bungie jumping on a fish hook, and assaulted a civilian fish for some reason
unlocked Patrick as a playable character and threw watermelons at things
got stumped by a tough area, but overcame it by belly-flopping and throwing robots!
learned that I am at present the NUMBER ONE Battle for Bikini Bottom streamer in the world. Big fish, small pond, kids.
came to the conclusion that we are all hot, progressive, trash.
made it to our first boss - King Jellyfish! ... and his annoying electric attack... and he shot his kids at us. It was weird.
