I played Little Hope for the first time! And it was more than a little boring. The uninteresting cut scenes drag on (and on) and gave me "2006 ABC Family Original Series" vibes. The gameplay is sparse and is more "choose" your own adventure, which should have been fun in theory. I also realized how old I'm getting when I had to turn up the brightness to its absolute max so my ancient eyes could see wtf was going on.
The positives include:
an intro sequence featuring a song that speaks to my trashy soul and can only be described as doom gospel music
some fun jump scares
this game was so boring, it actually drove me to alcohol
I did have fun doing MST3k

In this first stream we:
yet again started off with happy Babbs, who pushed down on the controller because she's the real boss around here
got into a bus crash because of a creepy child in the road (8m) and decided to make our first dialogue choices... we chose bratty (13m)
met a creepy child called Megan... because of course she is called Megan (16m) and learned we're in a dysfunctional family that we plan to snark our way out of (22m)
watched Megan set the family home on fire and things do not go well in trying to save our family (23m)
are introduced to a new cast of characters to make bratty (33m) are alienating every character we can - TOTAL PARTY WIPE! (41m)
possibly manifested a cat in-game by mentioning one (48m)
were so bored we started creating our own fanfic about the characters and realize they are so unlikable that we don't need to make them unlikable (1hr22m)
learned how not to deal with a house fire, how to ask 'Did anyone else hear that?', and that Citrus is vital to a healthy diet. (1hr32m)
got pretty good jumpscare to wake us up (1hr38m)
entered a creepy abandoned house all alone, because we're very smart... (1hr45m) and were treated to another fun jumpscare while wonder why the UK accents in this game waver so so much from Scotland to Yorkshire (1hr50m)
are finally broken when asked to find and connect a phone wire... (2hrs)
vent about our time and review the game after the gameplay portion of the stream.
