I played God of War for the first time! I was incredibly impressed with how beautiful and seamless the gameplay is while still being challenging (in a good way). The voice acting in particular stood out to me as well as the way storytelling, hack n' slash, and strategy all blended together to create an exciting immersive experience. I found myself screaming at the screen (again, in a good way) and realized I hadn't had this much fun since I was a kid!
Note: There are also scenes where you have to fight and hunt animals so if you're a sensitive soul like yours truly, be warned. I watched one scene through my fingers and turned away at parts.

defeated the a Draugr during our first encounter! And our second encounter!
listened to me show off the fact that I've voiced many Greek mythical characters because I'm SUCH a famous voice actor (sarcasm)

encountered our first boss, a giant troll called Daudi Kaupmadr and suffered our first deaths... the game condescendingly suggests we lower the difficulty (32 mins)
mastered the lock-on! It's a game-changer! (55mins)
